The wreckage

The Wreckage.
Wake up your sleeping
Wake up your sleeping behind the wheel.

As the car begins to role
I smile as i lose control.
This weightlessness is such a gift
As gravity has lost its hold.

Time is quickly passing by
Flashes of my life echo in my mind
And as sad and happy thoughts collide
In one brief moment frozen in time.

I see the sky and then the ground
Kaleidoscope of light and sound.
Tossed and thrown like a little rag doll
I Patiently wait, as my life is on hold.

I hear the ambulance begin to cry
The flashing lights still scar my eyes,
And thoughts of death plague my mind
But the loves of my life still keep me alive.

I awake from a vast and horrific slumber
Eyes barely open, as my mouth does blunder.
I look across this gloomy room,
To see my family with faces as white as the moon.

I see a mouth move, but hear nothing but silence
Then this piercing noise takes over in triumph
A screech of noise as loud as a mouse,
Controls my ears and floods this house.

Im confused at what is happening here
Fear and panic as too why i can’t hear.

Wake up your sleeping
Wake up your sleeping behind the wheel.
